Last week it was reported that Maxwell signed on for the Africa 101 Project Launch.

R&B singer Maxwell will lend support to the ‘Africa 101 Project’ next week.
Set to kick off Monday, September 15th, Maxwell will join in celebrating the launch of an 858-mile ultra marathon set to be featured at the NY AIDS Film Festival.
Joined by Bertil Lindblad, Shoe4Africa, and Warner Music Group Executive Kevin Liles, Maxwell will commemorate AIDS activist Suzanne Africa Engo who is set to launch an 858 mile trek by foot from New York to Chicago. Soulvibes.com
MAXWELL Live 08, October 3, 2008, Maxwell will perform in Bloemfontein, South Africa, as a part of the 
MACUFE Youth Programme at the Cricket Stadium.
MACUFE, the Mangaung African Cultural Festival, was launched in 1997 by the Free State Provincial Government. MACUFE is considered one of the biggest cultural festivals in African and has garnered international acclaim.
