I had wonderful 2nd row seats, however someone I knew wasn’t able to make the concert so she called me and told me that we could take her FIRST ROW seats! Wow! AMAZING! So grateful!

Ok guys. I hate to say it, but this was the same show as the Pre-party tour in 2008. It really was! Same old songs and everything. No, Drowndeep: Hula, no For Lover’s Only, No Submerge: Til We Become The Sun…None of that. I was surprised bec. He said he wasn’t going to bring the same show.

The new songs he did were Pretty Wings, Cold, Stop The World, and Bad Habits. He ended with WWW and was supposed to still sing Help Somebody (bec. Everwanting could see the set list) but he didn’t bec. People started pouring out of the venue bec. They thought it was over. I hate when people do that at concerts!!!

It’s still a MAXWELL concert guys so I wasn’t disappointed with the performance at all. His live singing is just AMAZING! The band was WOW and Whalum, Sermon, Harrold and LaTina were singing their asses off too! They sounded really good!

Max stared at me and pointed so many times. At one point, we were singing Bad Habits to each other and he pointed and said “WOW” like he couldn’t believe I knew all the words. LOL! I held his hand a few times. I was excited!

Of course his infectious smile was gleaming the entire time. He was SUPER HANDSOME! He even had a moment where it was just music playing and he stopped and just looked up to the ceiling while the crowd shouted wonderful things at him. While his head was still looking up to heaven, I saw him mouth “Oh My God” and then cover his face. So HUMBLE guys! I just love him!!!

I did not meet Maxwell. The venue was really complicated and I think the artists enter underground. I saw Kenneth Whalum afterwards in the hallway, and introduced myself and shook his hand. We chatted for about 3 minutes and then we departed. I will meet Max soon. I just feel it. I will see him again July 15th, and July 16th. Maybe then?
