I didn’t watch the BET Awards, but I caught a clip on Youtube. I’m proud of Max for his performance! He must have been nervous, because he didn’t seem as full of energy as he did when I saw him in Milwaukee. But then again Pretty Wings isn’t a happy-go-lucky song. That suit made him look big (like muscular!) and I’m used to him looking kinda lean. I’d love to see more pics of him in the suit! So it was different, but really GOOD!

Maxwell is an awesome artist; he was the greatest performner of the evening at the BET Awards. No one can follow a Maxwell performance. No one!!!!!

Maxwell is awesome, by far the best performance of the night at the BET Award. That’s why he is always the closing act of the night. Celebrities performed before Maxwell, but, not one of them can follow him. Maxwell, especially when he did his famous split, is by far a hard act to follow.

We cannot wait to see him in Atlantic City in July 2009.

Maxwell, we love you and are happy that you are touring again.

Maxwell’s music is so magical it can make the depths of death stop and listen, if only for a moment. In my heart I believe Mr. Michael Jackson would have been honored by these tributes, and Mr. Maxwell is humble enough to express “Pretty Wings” as such. Though I wonder if Mr. Maxwell the entitled lyrics to the song meant just as much to the fans as it means to him (“to love is to let go. But to come back is beyond rhyme or reason..it is everlasting).
