What Is It About MAXWELL?

I was checking my sister’s Facebook page this morning because she had posted she likes the song Cold (BLACKsummersnight 2009) and I came across a response from someone she went to high school with.

I’m gonna ask you… What is it about Maxwell that does it for women? Seriously, I’m not hating cause the man is talented but I haven’t seen women act like this since Prince had a hot album…

Once I stopped smiling/laughing, because the guy who asked the question seemed like he genuinely wanted to know the answer, I prepared an answer but I think my sister handled it just well. Here’s her response:

All I can say is that any man who can sing and look like that, can make me swoon with pleasure is alright with me. Few men can have that power.

After running a few thoughts through my mind…along with Maxwell being an amazing (often times too critical) artist, his style (kudos to his stylist), his humbleness, etc. Its the WHOLE entire package of MAXWELL that makes him so appealing to women. Maxwell is like (and you can quote me on this) the walking embodiment of foreplay for women. A fantasy, if you will. Women look at Maxwell, and (if they don’t want him) they want their men to look and carry themselves like him.

TIP to men all over the world wondering what they can do to have one-third of the appeal of Maxwell, start dressing the part. Tailor made clothing and clean/new/new-looking shoes, regardless of what you look like, will help you go a very long way with women.

Now, if this has been too much explaining take this thought with you; men, you have Halle Berry, Angelina Jolie, Serena Williams, and Scarlett Johansson. Women, have Idris Elba, Hugh Jackman, and (drumroll please) MAXWELL.

Maxwell lyrics in his music makes me go “WOW.. WATTA MAN..” His music brings out the inner beauty in yourself. He make you feel wanted and more noticable. It is just a fantasy. Because there is no way to find a common man with looks,unconditional love, gratitute, and dress with such maturity. He doesn’t have that I can get any woman I want attitude. All woman in his eyes are beautiful. That’s what makes you love him more.

Not only does Maxwell like women(hell a lot of men like women) But he is not afraid to show his appreciation for women. And his humbling spirit is refreshing.

Maxwell takes his time with his music, he doesn’t over thinks it, he just does it!!!! I love his style and the vibe you get when you listen to his music! That’s the only thing that puts me in a peace of mind, other than my children!

Maxwell just has that “X” Factor period. I still remember seeing the “‘Til The Cops Come Knockin’” video for the first time and wondering, “Who the heck is that!” He’s drawn me in from day one and I’ve loved every minute of the journey (so has my husband).

Maxwell is the kind of singer, composer, and performer that you not only want to listen to, but also want to see in concert. There is never a dull moment. He respects women to the highest degree. I first heard him on a jazz station(KTWV TheWave in L.A.) singing Ascension and I’ve been loving his music ever since.

Maxwell is not “pretty guy, drop dead gorgeous”. He is very handsome with natural sex appeal. He’s emotionally available, talks about loving a woman, growing old with her and not leaving her even if she changes and that is oh so sexy. Too few women appreciate a guy like Max, the man. On the flip side, too many want a guy like Maxwell, the “celebrity”.

Maxwell is so pure, so honest, so talented.. and his music truly reflects every bit of that! Anyone can listen to his albums and apply it to their own relationships/situations, one way or the other. Maxwell is what we want our “ideal” men to be.. strong, caring, talented, spiritual, honest, ‘real’ and the fact that he’s Hella Fine doesn’t hurt! I can honestly go to his concert ‘blind-folded’ and enjoy myself (i wouldnt though..lol, just making a point). Bottom line.. his inner beauty and musical gifts eclipse his ‘external, masculine-nucleus .. and thats saying a WHOLE lot!
