Yes he did split his pants yall! But he was marvelous!! Simply fabulous – He even came back to do one finale song even though his voice was giving out on him! He’s a trooper we loved the performance and sitting on the floor was the best – up close n personal!!

Yes, he split his pants. I could see when it happened. He was doing a split, then a huge smile came across his face. He looked at the brass section and tells them something. He gets up and puts his hand behind his back. He comes back and says “I split my pants y’all” a truly real moment. He is the real deal. He truly is a gem. I’m soooo glad he is back. Music has not been the same without him. The band was on point. He kept thanking the audience for coming over and over. You can tell he really meant it. Can’t wait til next year. I already told hubby to get ready, cause I’m sooo there. :)

Maxwell & Chrisette Michelle were phenomenal last night. After waiting 8 years since my first Maxwell concert experience I can say he was certainly well worth the wait! I loved how he kept acknowledging the fans and sincerely thanking us for our continued love and support of his music. I’ve come to realize that the gentleman known as Maxwell is his own mood. The talented band, stage setup, and lighting lent very well to his smooth groove mood. I definitely left the concert feeling like I was at the highest of the highs!

I have seen Maxwell perform three times over the years and I have always enjoyed his shows. But last night, I found him vulgar. Not sexy or sensual, but vulgar. I am really disappointed and doubt we will ever catch his show again.

It was a good concert! Not great! However, we did enjoy it. He sang all of our favorite songs and was very personable but we felt like something was missing!

I am a huge fan and thought the concert was amazing! I agree with all the comments here, in particular how he kept thanking the fans. I love that about him..his humbleness. But I also have to agree with the comment about him being a little overtly sexual…yes his music is sensual..but he just came across as being something he is not which is being agressive and slightly vulgar.

I was truly impressed by this talented artist. He is a reminder that true talent exists and modesty is much more appealing than overtly obnoxious behavior. As a poor teacher striving to survive in this tough economy, the tickets well worth every dime I spent; his repeated thankfulness was a reminder that he is gentleman…

What a great concert! Cant wait to see him again… and he was so thankful to the fans. This was well worth the money.

I was surprised for the concert. I didn’t know where I was going until I got inside! I was SHOCKED..and had THIRD ROW! It was the best concert I had EVER been to. He was real, and you can tell he truly loves music, LIVE music! Excpet the only thing was the ladies in teh FRONT ROW shouldve been UP tot he STAGE!! He was entertaining all the ladies that came to the stage..HE LOVES IT..so why weren’t they up there the whole CONCERT???!!

I LOVE MAXWELL!

Yeah, great show but it was all a show. He split his pants in Atlanta too. And the lady threw the panties in Atlanta. The red ones and he smelled them. So, he’s done it lots of times before, he has really stepped his game way up!! Great show.
