The entire album is great but i would have to say LOVE YOU – hands down!!! Initially it was PRETTY WINGS before I heard the entire album. He REALLY put his heart and soul into LOVE YOU. You can feel the intensity with every word. It is so moving . . .

Wow hard to say I love them ALL TRULY for different reasons but Fistful of Tears almost had me crying on the train

“Pretty Wings” is of course my favorite followed closely by “Stop the World.” Either way, I press the repeat button and listen to these several times first before playing the entire cd.

I have to say that Stop the World, Bad Habits, Fist full of Tears, I love then all, the whole cd is truly great, but if I have to chose one Stop the world would be first!

I agree with the first commenter with “Love You” being my favorite. I feel as if he put his whole foot in his song.

Like everyone else, I love all of the songs on Blacksummersnight, but I must say that the lyrics of “Stop the World” really work for me. They remind me of some of the statements my husband made when we first started dating.
After Stop the World, I’m feeling Bad Habits because it’s so sexy and the video is just incredible. Maxwell together with Kerry Washington – you can feel the heat from the TV screen. Genius!!! Illicit, sexy, forbidden, creative, what-if-we-get-caught?Can’t help outselves, can’t stop, sexy personified.
Pretty Wings – I’ve been there before. Had to leave a relationship and allow myself (and him) to grow – even though I truly loved the other person. Pretty Wings mades me wistful. I love how he had the courage to allow the other person to be who they needed to be, even if it meant losing her.
Help Somebody – cause I contributed to Yele Haiti even before I knew it was Maxwell’s favorite charity. Here in the U.S. we are all so fortunate – we should try if possible to give to others in need.
Fist Full of Tears – unusual sentiments. The way he pleads for understanding makes me speechless.
Purchased the CD three times – once because I scratched my first copy, then I purchased the CD/DVD version. When I went to see him in concert I forgot to bring my CD so I purchased one at the concert to listen to on the way home – got to get my Maxwell fix.

This is so wrong. You expect me to pick ONE song and call it my favorite? I can’t choose. I guess it depends on the mood. And chosing all 9 wouldn’t be fair, huh? Sorry I can’t vote….LOL!!! Happy Weekend!!!
