Would You Bring Your Child to a MAXWELL Concert?

The strangest thought crossed my mind as I was over looking on ticketmaster. On one of the concerts listed for MAXWELL it has that children 2 and up must have a ticket. My imagination ran wild with me for a moment. We all know children, they are universally the same even the unique ones. *Age-wise 2 – 16* Regardless of the reason, Would You Bring Your Child or Children to a MAXWELL concert?

My 15 year old niece wants to go to the concert…like her Aunt she loves the music. Unfortunately, she still hasn’t reached that age that I would feel comfortable with her seeing her aunt holler Maxwell’s name all night. LOL… So, the answer is no…

I did bring my child to a Maxwell concert, of course she is 26, LOL. Now would I bring a minor child, No I wouldn’t, but a 17 or 18 yr old yes cuz they have seen everything he does if not on stage then surely in a video.

My son is 14 and loves Maxwell’s music. Yes, I would take him. However, he is old enough to appreciate the music. If he were any younger, I don’t think it would be appropriate.

My daughter is 14 and yes I would take her to the concert. She was born just around the time that Maxwell’s first CD came out and unlike the average child she was rocked to sleep listening to the sweet sounds of Maxwell. Ascension still remains her favourite song to this day!

Yes! 14 and over only though!

Not sure if the people who answered yes has ever seen Maxwell in concert. However, in recent years his shows have become a little more sexually explicit and I love it!

Therefore, I don’t know if I would be willing to expose a “Young” (under 18) child to that. More so, I don’t want them to hear me scream “DO THAT TO ME MAXWELL!”

Don’t think so. My 6 yr old LOVES his music and is dying to go to the show but it’s too explicit at times. Besides, his show is a complete departure from life w/kids so I would be mad as hell if I heard “mommy i have to go to the bathroom!” During the concert!

Age is a huge factor. The Black Summers Night tour is a little to explicit for young kids and I wouldn’t consider bringing any kids under at least 16. Besides, a Maxwell concert is a “Mommy Time” event. I don’t want my kids seeing me act a fool for Maxwell, they get enough of that at home…LOL.

Yes, Maxwell time is mommy’s time. I wouldn’t even consider bringing my little one. I don’t want him seeing how crazy I can get over Maxwell. Besides, it’s just too much of a distraction from what it’s all about. Fun with Max!
