Made a trip of it and flew in from ATL with my girl. I signed up early enough to get the free priority access tickets. Got there at 7:30pm and got in with no problem, doors did not open till almost 9 though. We could have been right next to the stage if we wanted but we were fine where we were standing. It was a great show and performance. He is here in ATL next month but want be as intimate in Phillips Arena as the HOB was.

Yeah the line was wild! Thank God I went upfront and showed my Priority Access tickets so I could wait in the line. I waited a little over two hours.

Doors "opened" at 7:30....he didn't come on till 10:45......he says he played "Cold" as his encore to make up for everyone waiting....

Still so glad i got in!!! Max.....you killed it man! One hour of pure music

I attended the show in Boston, drove 1 1/2 hours from Western Ma, Had to stand in line for about 2 hours. I did have priority access tickets. I have seen Maxwell 10 times in the last 10 years in NYC. CT & Mass. Last night in Boston was about the most up close concert I attended, so other than having to be on my feet for so long I loved his performance and the fact that it was free was a big plus. I would do it again in a heart beat

I totally agree with Nik. However, after waiting for more than 3 hours, I still got in to see the show. I was disappointed that I had Priority Access tickets, but was cut off, because they failed to inform us that there were two lines. I was just around the block from the House when I was informed that the line I was looking at was for the show. So, I joined the line, only to find out 3 hours later that I should have been in the Priority line.

My guest and I walked to Priority, joined the line, then a House staff member told us that he was cutting off the line, so we couldn't receive first seating. He said we should have arrived before 8:30, but we arrived at 7:30. I returned to the other line, and got in. We watched the show from the balcony. It was extremely crowded.

I learned from this experience. I should have arrived at the entrance to ensure I was in the right line, then fallen to my correct place. I can only imagine how close I could have been to Maxwell if I had been in the correct line. Although the wait was terrible, Maxwell put on a show that made up for the delay.

I think the version of "This Woman's Work" he performed last night was indeed the best of all other performances of the song. Also, I think I heard him mention LMN. He is so genuine, humble, and amazing. Loved it! I drove nearly 3 hours, and waited even longer outside to see him, but I'm happy.

I thought that the way they treated the people that showed up and the way in which the organization for the concert took place was AWFUL. I was thoroughly disappointed when I walked away after over THREE hours.

I knew there would be a lot of people but that was beyond even my expectations of "free." Free is a cop-out to treat loyal fans terribly in this case. There should not have been a "free" line to begin with when the "priority" line clearly reached capacity practically for the entire club.

I don't blame Maxwell for this, but the organizers. At the very least the public in the "free" line deserved an update or explanation. Treating people with a bit of respect and as though their time is actually valuable, goes a lot farther than the madness I experienced yesterday. I've seen Maxwell before, and I am certain that I will see him again, but even if I had gotten in (which I could have) I didn't feel it was worth THAT.

PS -As it was free, I'm not complaining, but I wouldn't pay money to see the show again since it felt repetitive.
