What an amazing concert. Maxwell was superb. Concert especially the encore could have been longer though – that’s how much I enjoyed it. Lovely man.

Amazing!! He was on top form and it was well worth waiting so long for his come back. He is back!!

Amazing! Turned up early expecting the show to start before 8pm, he came on stage at 9:30pm instead – but it was worth it. 90 mins of pure joy. One of the best performances I’ve ever seen and he seemed so excited to be touring again and seeing his fans after over a decade! Said he was going to come back every year…wow

Maxwell was fantastic!!! He found it quite hard to hit falsetto notes, which is not surprising after 89 shows, but he has such a range that he more than made up for it. Lovely smile!!!

Maxwell was a taste of heaven last night!I am quite sure he is a fallen angel sent here to bless us with his spirit & presence…Beautiful live band, humility, sincerity, amazing songs/vocals/moves & sexual titillation 2 boot! I am definitely back in the Neo-Classic Soul groove… :-)

I am from Chicago and had the wonderful opportunity to see Maxwell in London on November 13th. It was an OUTSTANDING show. We actually stood for 5 hours starting from our arrival at the Brixton until our man came on stage and it was worth every second of the wait. He was humble and charming! He also promised to come back to London every year for the next seven years. Also, after he finished singing he jumped off the stage and signed 2 album covers from his early days for 2 fans, it was so gracious of him. He is so easy to LOVE.

Hi Bebe,

I see you really made it to the London show!! Can you tell us more? Did they have the same stage set-up? Did he wear the little vest, did he sing Pretty Wings as a encore? Was there anything different in the London concert than the others (U.S.) concerts you’ve seen this year?

I only saw him twice and I know you’ve seen him several times – anything different in the European concerts. I’m told that some of the concert halls don’t have seats so you do a lot of standing?

I wonder if he will be coming back to the U.S. immediately or will he hang around in Europe before returning? Seems like his schedule will be kind of empty after all these months of touring. Would be nice to travel Europe as a tourist since you’re already there. Although I would be missing my family and would be ready to sleep in my own bed after all that touring.

Whever he does, I hope he’s safe and getting some rest for his body, mind and voice.

Be blessed, Brother Maxwell – we love and appreciate you and your music. Can’t wait to see you on the Soul Train Awards and the Grammy’s. Good luck – even though with the year you’ve had I don’t think you’ll need it!
