The Charts Update (December 05, 2009)

Billboard.com is in full agreement with LMN in believing that MAXWELL will garner multiple Grammy nominations for 2010. Here’s what they had to say:

Maxwell may have been on a hiatus from music since 2002, but with the release of “BLACKsummers’night” it’s as if he never left. The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with a career-high sales week of 316,000, his tours have been selling out all over the country and his first single from the album, “Pretty Wings” remains one of the most romantic tracks of the year. Maxwell is a strong contender for multiple Grammy nominations. READ MORE

I am so glad he is back! I am not surprised at his continued success. I hope he wins a Grammy! I love his new album, and cannot wait until the next one. I saw his performance on CNN Heroes tribute…it was soooo beautiful and appropriate! He sang one of my favorite songs, “Help Somebody”!

Please keep up the awesome work because we truly love his music!

Happy Holidays!
