So all these categories are pretty tough for me. Maxwell is my first love so my first choice, but damn! Anthony Hamilton, John Legend (my best song in his album too, ‘This time’), Jazmine Sullivan – Oh Lord! All my love to Maxwell though

I say he’ll go 4 of 6, queen B/gaga, can’t be touched this year.

Very well deserved Grammy nods for Max and what a beautiful and sexy performance of Lady in My Life by the Wonderful Micheal Jackson. What an awesome voice Maxwell, and you put your own style to it. Loved it! So as I settle in for the night, I thank God for true talent and your humbleness. I could see it in your eyes while you were talking to L.L. Cool J and Smokey Robinson. Again everything happening and coming to you WELL DESERVED!

Many CONGRATULATIONS to MAXWELL and the BAND on their nominations. I am so glad people are relating to Maxwell’s music. I always knew they would be nominated for at least one but six is even better. I still believe from the bottom of my heart he is going home with at least one but I will be praying for two. After eight years of no public performances, he deserves it. Again, CONGRATULATION to MAXWELL and his BAND and continue being BLESSed from GOD’s eyes and from your fans ears.

“Music speaks what cannot be expressed, soothes the mind and gives it rest, heals the heart and makes it whole, flows from heaven to the soul.”

I totally forgot about the Grammy Nomination Concert last night. But I did set my DVR. And popped up like a Jack-in-the-Box this morning at 4:00 am to watch after I realized I had missed it! LOL

Much respect to you Max. You deserve all these nominations and more. You are a true artist but even more a truly great human being.

Oh Max, thanks for urging the audience to stand and give props to Smokey and Ringo. What’s wrong with these kids today, did they not know they were in the presence of greatness?

While I love for him to get all 6, I feel good that he’ll get at least 3, just hope he doesn’t pass out from being so excited, lol. What a beautiful performance last night, had no idea he was going to do a Michael Jackson song, whew we gotta luv him.

In the words of the late Sam Cooke…”It’s been a long time coming”! I’m excited for Maxwell, I think that he has given us an incredible body of work. It’s good to see that he is getting an abundance of recognition for the amazing artist that he is. I feel that he is reaping the fruit of his past work as well as his current work. May the rewards keep flowing….

I am so very, very happy for Maxwell. I had the pleasure of being at his show on my B-Day, September 28, 2009, at Madison Square Garden. He is an artist that gets it. He is not over exposed. Like most, he genuinely takes his time and I think that is what makes him such a rare and brilliant artist. His band is awesome and they all look like they have great chemistry with one another. Congrats Max

I am sooo happy for Max/band and so proud of them, I can barely contain my excitement! Max’s work is far superior to some other artists who I won’t name, but the term “oversaturation” totally applies. Ok, enough hating, this is Max’s year, I feel it in my bones, and it’s about time!!!
