If you have not heard already, Maxwell received 6 Grammy nominations! He performed on the Grammy Nominations Concert Live!! (December 2, 2009). Here’s what the LA Times had to say, “Maxwell’s performance of Michael Jackson’s “The Lady in My Life,” which served as the evening’s requisite MJ tribute, not only stood out, it made a quiet case for itself as one of the best televised musical performances of the year…If anyone questions his right to so many Grammy nominations after this performance, they’re simply tone-deaf.”

How’s that for a comeback! Although it’s a fantastic honor after 8 years off the scene to receive such well-deserved recognition as SIX Grammy nominations and his record-making stats, this man’s art has ALWAYS spoken for itself. TRULY! His rendition of MJ’s song last night only shocked those who didn’t already know! Many BLESSINGS to Max and his band for their continued success and for the LIGHT they undoubtedly bring to all of us through their gift of music!!

MAXWELL…is truly the epitome of what every male artist should be. His performances are so captivating that you actually forget to blink your eyes because you feel so drawn to his calm and pleasant spirit that he possess. 6 Grammy Nominations, MJ Tribute on the Grammy Nominations Concert, & The Jay Leno Show’s performance are just the tip of the iceberg for what I think this man is capable of. All male artist please the next time this man performs or has a concert in your home town please attend and bring a note pad & pen to write down his techniques and the amazing way he captivates his audience.
