Hmm, I don’t watch the Today Show. It doesn’t air where I live at 10am. Hoda and Kathie Lee do though. Wonder will it be on during their segment or maybe the link got the times wrong?

I’m so happy for this site, I get to see what I miss on the tube. The Today show ends at 10am, we don’t get the extra hour. But I was able to view it right here! Thanks Again!

JamieJ December 11th, 2009 at 7:41 pm

Max, Thanks for the birthday gift. What a great way to make my day.

Robyn December 11th, 2009 at 8:09 pm

Was it just me or did Kathy Lee and Hoda seem a lil giddy over “our Maxwell”…it was like who could speak to him the most lol…guess its just the Maxwell-effect!! My fav part was his interview… a lil shy and so sweet!! Thnx again LMN!!

Ms. Deb December 11th, 2009 at 8:31 pm

Great performance, though I hope he gets a chance to rest those golden vocal cords. I love how he always seems a little shy at the beginning of interviews, so sweet and humble. And awwwww, the shout out to his Grandma, just made me love him even more, if possible.

soulshadow55 December 11th, 2009 at 10:04 pm

Perfect performance by Maxwell, Latina and the band. But why did Kathy Lee and Hoda say that Max had won a Grammy before – don’t these people do their homework before they interview performers? You could see the puzzled look on his face, though he played it off nicely.

I agree, they looked well rested and sounded wonderful. He’s probably happy to be back home in New York.

Always thoughtful Maxwell said “hello and thank-you” to his grandmother. He gave her credit for his being where he is today. How sweet and heartwarming that was.

Peace and Blessings, Brother Maxwell. You are the Truth!

LOVED M’s twist on “Pretty Wings!” :)

I cannot find the words to accurately express the JOY that permeates my spirit in anticipation of hearing, reading about or seeing Maxwell!!! :) :) :) It’s CRAZY!!! :)

I LOVEEEEEEE that M gave a shout out to his GRANDMOTHER!!!…………………….. :)

My birthday is two days before the GRAMMYS and the best gift is M accepting his GRAMMYS!!!… :)

P.S. For me Maxwell accepting his GRAMMYS
will be BIGGER THAN the superbowl!!! :)

Jackie December 12th, 2009 at 3:58 am

Another great performance. Thank you LMN for always having the video when I can’t watch live. I don’t want to miss any of Max’s performances. Such a blessing. Thank you Maxwell for sharing your gift. Thank you God for sending this gift.

Arnita Blowe December 12th, 2009 at 2:21 pm

To Robyn: You noticed that too? LOL…They were all up under Maxwell…I’m thinking, “Let the man go so he can sing!!!” LOL…I also appreciated the shout-out he gave to his Grandmother…:)

Arnita Blowe December 12th, 2009 at 2:37 pm

I had to watch his performance again…My mistake…they were up under him after he sang…LOL…They definitely didn’t want to let him go!!! LOL :)

PeePeeBee December 12th, 2009 at 8:34 pm

I’m soooh glad I’ve come across this site. Chantay, thanks a million for setting this up. Living in Europe we tend not to get all the info. on this perfect specimen of humanity called MAXWELL! Loved the way he gave another twist to Pretty Wings.

Yes, the shadows around his eyes have definitely gone, maybe the mere fact of sleeping in his own bed(let me just dwell on that thought lol) Probably some good home cooking a lá Grandma did the trick.

Did you know he had posters specially made for his fans Amsterdam 2009 gig, to make up for the long wait prior to him going on stage the previous year? Yes,I was there.Yes,I have one!

GeminiLady December 13th, 2009 at 12:47 am

I LOVE this man! His sweet & humble spirit is so radiant & makes me feel all warm & fuzzy. How wonderful that Aretha Franklin was also on the show. She loves herself some Maxwell & stated on the Tom Joyner Morning show that if she was just a few years younger….HAHA. Maxwell has so many of us thinking, if only….! Keep being you beautiful man & I love that the world is being introduced to the music that we fell in love with from the very beginning.

SUNG December 13th, 2009 at 4:31 am

I always enjoy seeing and hearing Max and the band. LaTina’s hair was simply beautiful. I’m starting to get to know who everyone is now! Max is working those vocals hard, will there be anything left for the Grammys! Take good care of yourself. Like you said you have already won.

Ms. Sara December 14th, 2009 at 11:19 am

SOOOOO CUTE AND SHY! GREAT PERFORMANCE ON THE TODAY SHOW MAX.CAN’T WAIT TO SEE YOU WIN THOSE GRAMMYS.

Brenda McNeal January 10th, 2010 at 1:01 pm
