That’s Gram-Tastic, The Grammys 2010 Soon

The 52nd Annual Grammy Awards will air on CBS, Sunday, January 31, 2010 (8 – 11:30pm ET/PT). Maxwell captured 6 nominations including Song of the Year, Best Male Pop Vocal Performance, Best Pop Instrumental Performance, Best Male R&B Vocal Performance, Best R&B Song, and Best R&B Album making him a 12 time Grammy nominated artist.

The excitement has mounted the air tenfold, THIS WILL BE the year right? Right! Come Sunday night, many of his fans will park themselves in front of the tube and on the sidelines to catch his performance and any other glimpses offered. What is he going to wear? Who is he going to bring? What is he going to sing? Which awards will he win? What will he say during his acceptance speech? Those inquires and more will meet their answers soon.

One thing is for sure, our fingers and toes are crossed for the best outcome for Maxwell and his fellow band members including (the) Robert Glasper (Experiment), who received a nomination for Best Urban Alternative Song for “All Matter” with Bilal. Good Luck!

The Grammy Committee better not “India Arie” Max–although he doen’t need awards to prove how great a talent he is. It’s just time everybody else knows it too!

@Regionray

ROTFLMAO!!!!

I was just thinking the same thing. That truly upset me when India was shutout in 2001. But that ain’t gonna happen to Max, I know it isn’t. Sending positive vibes out to the universe.

Max is the MAN this year…well he’s the man every year but there is no denying him in 2010.

You hear THAT Grammy Committee?

I don’t know the last time I watched the Grammy’s. Like all the other long time, loyal Maxwell fans, I’ll be glued to the television Sunday. In light of the abundance of blessings being bestowed upon him from above, this is Max’s year! Right ladies? Note: If the Grammy Committee does pull an “India Arie”, that’s okay. Max will be gracious (as always), will continue to give us beautiful music and will forever have the love and support of his loyal fans.

I am super, duper excited about the Grammys. I just picked up my groceries for a viewing party I’m hosting. I hope the snow won’t keep my friends away, but the sweet sounds of Maxwell will keep me company. Let’s go!

He tweeted that he’s performing with a legend. I’m thinking Roberta Flack. If so, it’ll be awesome if they do an old Donny Hathaway cut. WHAT SAY YOU?
