Maxwell To Work With Roberta Flack…Again?

At the 52nd annual Grammy Awards last night, Maxwell performed WHERE IS THE LOVE with Roberta Flack (song originally done with Donny Hathaway) and this may not be the last time the two work together. According to nydailynews.com, there is a chance Maxwell will work with Roberta Flack again on her upcoming project. Check out Roberta Flack speaking about her duet with Maxwell.

Maxwell revealed that his collaboration with Roberta Flack on “Where Is the Love” last night was his idea – and it will not be a one time thing. The singer, who won several Grammys last night, said he will be working with Flack on her next album as well. NY Daily News

He’s just wonderful on those re-makes!!! He harmonized very well with Ms. Flack. I hope they do work together again. Her focus seemed to be everywhere except on him, but her vocals were amazing!!! :)

The Roberta Flack/Maxwell collabo was awesome! I think the Grammy’s caught a little bit of the Maxwell hysteria for him to win twice. I was truly hoping he’d win at least all six, but two will do. I love it…this will open up so many doors.

Does anyone else besides myself thinks Maxwell should do a album on the remakes he have performed live on these shows? He sounds fabulous when he does tributes to the legends he listen to.

Janice I agree with you. I would love for him to do an album of some old R&B hits. If he could do Marvin Gaye’s ‘Lets Get it On’ or ‘Sexual Healing’ he would send women into orbit, even more than he already does.
