Carmen Jones March 9th, 2010 at 2:54 pm

Are there presale codes for any of the east coast shows?

thelatestmaxwellnews March 9th, 2010 at 3:35 pm

I’m sure there will be. Tomorrow or later on tonight, I’ll insert the passwords for the shows listed above.

suiteladymonica March 9th, 2010 at 9:41 pm

Are tix for Cleveland Ohio on sale, sold out or what?? Shows dated later are on sale. Did I miss something??

thelatestmaxwellnews March 9th, 2010 at 10:19 pm

No Cleveland, OH tickets are not on sale yet and have not been on sale. That’s happened before with later shows’ tickets on sale first (previous tours).

Judging from the locations, Washington, DC is one of Maxwell’s biggest markets (“THE” biggest in fact) and I’m assuming a couple of those other areas are as well. For sure, they are guaranteed sold out dates.

We will update you when tickets will be onsale for your location. Stay up with LMN.

Mr. Biz March 9th, 2010 at 10:22 pm

Will the presale password information for the Atlanta show be posted on this page?

thelatestmaxwellnews March 9th, 2010 at 10:28 pm

Yes, here.

If you have a CITI (R) credit card you can buy your concert tickets tomorrow. If not, radio, livenation, and venue presale begin Thursday and Friday. With tickets onsale for the dates above on Friday and Saturday.

tryingtogetix March 10th, 2010 at 12:07 pm

Does anyone know about stage setup for MSG show? Ticketmaster is showing as the “concert” default . . . just trying to make the best seat selection

thelatestmaxwellnews March 10th, 2010 at 12:45 pm

Haven’t heard anything about the stage setup yet from Maxwell.

CDTOTHEMAX March 10th, 2010 at 12:55 pm

I already have purchased two tickets for June 4th show at Oracle Arena in Oakland. Whoo Hoo!! Floor B Row 18 dead center!!!

Kym March 10th, 2010 at 2:10 pm

I purchased my tickets for NY this morning, but like the above said I’m not sure of the stage set up. I’m hoping my seats are okay. I was willing to pay $250 for a ticket and I couldn’t believe those werent available :(

Diva1957 March 10th, 2010 at 2:22 pm

What about the St Louis tickets, when will the presale start?

Katrice S. March 10th, 2010 at 2:46 pm

When do ALL tickets go on sale? Does
anyone know. I’m checking like everyday.
I just wanna find out how much tickets will be.
I live in Indianapolis and I they will be here
on May 24th. It’s my bday weekend and I just wanna
get some tix like asap!

Ms Deb March 10th, 2010 at 3:04 pm

I can’t believe all the floor seats in DC are gone already! I can’t afford the VIP prices, but am willing to pay the $200 for decent seats, which I haven’t been able to get so far. I don’t know if I should wait to see if some of the VIP seats free up, I’m afraid I’ll end up in the nosebleed section. :-(

CDTOTHEMAX March 10th, 2010 at 4:53 pm

Katrice check livenation.com, barginseating.com or stubhub.com. Enter Max’s name then look for your city/date of concert. Then click on purchase tickets and the seating for your venue should come up along with the prices. It will tell you what tickets are available, the seating and price.
How this helps. Good Luck

Jill Fan March 10th, 2010 at 6:00 pm

I cannot find information about ticket sales in Dallas. Is the tour going to stop in Dallas on June 8?

stephanie March 10th, 2010 at 8:23 pm

Got my tix for D.C. on June 18th! Alright all my kindred Maxwell fans, who can get me a 12-step program to wean myself off this man?!!! I spend a small fortune every time he comes to the Baltimore/D.C. area and yes, I must see him EVERY time. I’m a die hard fan and my husband is about sick of me. LOL Can anybody else relate? ;-)

Evelyn Bell March 10th, 2010 at 11:50 pm

I Want To Find Out If Maxwell And Jill Are Coming To Jacksonville Fl. I Missed Maxwell Last Year He Was In Jacksonville Fl. August Last Year. I Was Hoping That He And Jill Was Coming To Jacksonville Fl. That Would Save From Driving To Miami Fl. Which Is 8 Hours Of Driving One Way. Could You Please Check Into That For Me?? I Would Really Appreciate It. Thank You, Yours Truly Evelyn

Stephanie March 11th, 2010 at 9:52 am

Oops, forgot…thanks LMN for posting the presale dates. You are the best!

jadad March 11th, 2010 at 11:42 am

@Stephanie…I can relate, my husband has threatened Max’s life ;-) I got pretty good seats for the DC show in section 3, row v.

TheVoiceOfReason March 11th, 2010 at 12:30 pm

Oh yes keep me posted about Miami.

Maxluv508 March 11th, 2010 at 5:58 pm

I sat in the floor seats in Baltimore last year. Hmm, was not too happy because they had them facing the stage, but Max had that platform that came out into the audience so really they should have been facing that, not to mention they let fans stand up along the platform during the whole performance, $200 @ seat, well a chair that you couldn’t even turn, lol. I had better seats in DC, not on the floor but you could see so much better, so if it stops in Baltimore those are the seats I’ll be trying to get, not to mention the floor seats are all on one level unlike the regular seats.

Miss Dee March 11th, 2010 at 7:16 pm

@ Ms Deb, the floor seats are not gone. I just purchased mine. Each presale/promoter has a certain amount of tix they are given. Once “thier” amount is gone then you have to wait for another presale and/or the General public sale. There are currently 4 diff presales going on for this concert.

Radio presale”WKYS”, Verizon presale “WINGS” LN presale “Guitar” Citi presale “546616″ ect. The trick is to use each code to see which one gives the better seating (I should charge a fee for this info on Max tix) LOL!
I must say it was very “Challenging” tryin to get the right seat I wanted. I was @ the last Max concert @ Verizon in DC and the Floor seats were/are not the best seat beyond the first 3 rows/section!!!! (My opinion)

@Stephanie, I feel you Lady this is my 5th Max concert since July 2009. In my defense, I’m not a Groupie (*wink*-side eye), he’s just one of the best performers I’ve ever seen do it! And I go see Any & Everybody!!!

Miss Dee March 11th, 2010 at 7:19 pm

FYI, for those in the DC area Robert Glasper (Max’s pianist) Will be perfoming @ Bohemian Cavens on this Thur-Fri 03/12 & 3/13. I’ll be there who else is attending?

Evelyn Early March 11th, 2010 at 9:04 pm

I think it is so wonderful that he will be touring with Jill Scott. I think that he is so on a level that makes you love him even more. Jill is very deep in the way her voice makes a woman think about that man that she loves. The both of them with their heightened spiritual combination will make wonderful music together and I can’t wait to go to Miami and see both of them.

Ms. Deb March 11th, 2010 at 9:37 pm

@Miss Dee, thanks for the info. I was able to get seats on the floor in section 6, probably not the best, but I wanted to be on the floor (not that I plan to rush the stage or anything). ;-)

Sharon March 11th, 2010 at 9:38 pm

@Stephanie…I can also relate. I’m looking for the Maxwell cure too. When I find it I will pass it on. I know so many women like us that need it. I already got tickets for MSG in NY. I will be attending with my husband, so I will be on my best behavior. But I will also be getting tickets for the show at Mohegan Sun in CT when they go on sale. That will be a “Ladies Nite Out” with my sister and a group of friends. That way I can scream, dance, sing and not feel so inhibited.

stephanie March 11th, 2010 at 10:19 pm

Thanks Ms. Deb. I’m glad to see I’m not the only groupie, uh…I mean fan. ;-) Congrats on the floor seats. I had floor seats at the October 2009 show in D.C. and although we were close, I found myself looking back a lot while Maxwell walked the “runway”. I wanted a better overall view of the concert but still close. I’m in section 120 to the left side if you’re facing the stage. I’ll probably mosey on down to the floor towards the end of the show. ;-)

stephanie March 11th, 2010 at 10:24 pm

Congrats Jadad on the floor seats! (See my comment to Ms. Deb on my floor experience.
:-) ) Will your husband be going with you this time? I’m taking my girlfriend, who just happens to be my sister-in-law. LOL. She says that Maxwell is the only man she would excuse me having an affair with. Of course, neither one of us will EVER tell my husband about THAT comment. LOL.

Enjoy the show everybody. I can’t wait until June 18th!

jadad March 12th, 2010 at 12:10 pm

@Stephanie I was on the floor also at the last DC concert and I was right behind the three sections that faces the stage. They were okay seats but I could see pretty good considering the multitude of ladies standing around the stage. You best believe that if security allows, I will be one of those ladies this time around ;-) . Also, not sure if he will have the Y stage setup this time. We can dream…

jadad March 12th, 2010 at 12:12 pm

@ Stephanie My husband is NEVER coming with me again, he can’t appreciate my appreciation of Max :-)

sillithea March 12th, 2010 at 2:52 pm

I got my ticket today, ok my husband did NOT get one, it’s cool because I always leave my seat once Max comes on stage. He said he’s tired of hearing all the women screaming, so damn what! On June 12 in Philips arena I will be screaming. Thanks LMN for all the info.

Stephanie March 12th, 2010 at 4:27 pm

Miss Dee, I apologize. I thanked Ms. Deb instead of you. Got a little confused there for a bit but I guess that’s what happens when you got Maxwell on the brain! LOL

Jadad, I’m sure that security will let us get as close as we want towards the end of the show. I’m just glad to know that I’m not the only married woman who’s got it bad.

Sharon,

Like Diana Ross sang, “if there’s a cure for this, I don’t want it”. I think I’ll just have to push through it somehow! LOL. Girl, it’s so hard not to act a fool when you’re husband’s standing right next to you. Good luch with that! I’m kinda glad mine took a pass this go around. :-)

Dee Payne March 12th, 2010 at 5:40 pm

Is he coming to Memphis?

Sharon March 13th, 2010 at 3:42 pm

@Stephanie…I’m going to pray for strength to get through the show without acting a fool. I know it will be tough, because M just oozes sensuality.

@MAXLUV508…I hear what you are saying about the seating arrangements at the Baltimore show last year. I imagine it’s hard to enjoy the show when you are looking at his back most of the night. When you spend the extra money to get the seats in the front, you don’t want to be looking back most of the night. Maybe they will angle the seats on this tour, so everyone gets a good view.

Andrea April 29th, 2010 at 11:43 am

Hey, what is everyone wearing, this is my first concert in many, many years, and I have NO clue what to wear… especially for this type of venue…
