YO!!! Very nice interview, Loved it!
I like his voice and Maxwell's laugh is just infectious, LoL. Interesting questions indeed from Tazz Daddy about the rumours that he doesn't like to be stared at and ppl having to face the wall when he gets out to go on stage, hahahahahahaha! I had some really good laughs.
Than~X for sharing LMN :)

It's interesting to read Maxwell's personal thoughts and perspectives on world issues. He is very multifaceted. Maxwell has a sensitivity and awareness to what is occurring in our world and abroad.

Kudos to Maxwell for his charitable endeavors and his continous support and involvement with Haiti relief efforts.

Much Love and Blessings!

@soulshadow55 - I like your questions. At least there's some substance to it. I'm tired of the repetitive questions that keep on being thrown. If you don't have anything new or thought-provoking to ask, then don't bother doing an interview.

It's funny to hear those (hallway) allegations about Maxwell. I remember a few years ago listening to a radio interview of, I think it was, the singer Mario. He said that after a few months of bad treatment, he had dropped out of a tour with R. Kelly. Mario had made those exact allegations (verbatim) against R. Kelly. I think they even sued each other over missed tour dates as well as the allegations. So it's very weird to hear the same allegations being mentioned in the same breath with Maxwell. However, I think Maxwell gave TazzDaddy a straight-forward logical answer. But it seems these allegations are going to keep jumping from singer to singer. I guess someone is making a living out of trying to keep the gossip flowing.

Maxwell is such a fascinating musician. So I wonder why these interviewers continue to ask the same asine questions, interview after interview. Why don't they ask him about his musicianship, what instruments he plays, ask him about arranging his own songs, what it means to produce your records, the meaning behind the lyrics?

On a personal note, I would like to know what kind of books he reads, who's his favorite writer? He mentioned that he runs every day. Does he run because it helps with his voice/breath control or does he run because it helps to keep the weight off?

Maxwell's an art lover too. You guys remember he tweeted photos from the Louve in Paris during the European tour. Now that he's financially able, has he purchased any paintings, does he like a particular style or artist?

Also, on a lighter note, he's said a few times that while he was away from the music scene, he was "taking out my trash and buying my milk." Well, did he purchase whole milk, two percent, skim or soy? Just kiddin'!!

Finally, several times he's said his grandmother was a genus (in the way she raised him), I would love to know how and what she did that was so different/special in raising him than maybe the other mothers/grandmothers in the neighborhood that made him the man he is today?

I don't think those questions are too prying, if so, you guys please tell me? As I know he values his privacy and it's not my intention to cross that line into "noseyness." But, if someone could ask those types of questions, that would be an interview I would listen to over and over again.

As for that question that Tazz Daddy posed out there about Maxwell or his people demanding that people not look at him when he's leaving his dressing room and heading for the stage, I don't think I've ever heard any of those stories about Maxwell. However, I will say there have been certain acts at the ESSENCE Music Fest, who have made such demands in the past and some have since passed on. Yes, there are some weird artists out there.
