Spins Update: Fistful of Tears is #1

After 19 weeks, FISTFUL OF TEARS is in the number one position (for the first time) on the Urban AC charts with 2088 spins/plays. Nice. The video for Fistful of Tears was filmed sometime at the end of January and was directed by Philip Andelman (who also directed Pretty Wings). The video could possibly also include, band members who have toured with Maxwell. At the pinning of this entry, no word yet on when the video will be released. Hopefully soon.

And in other news, the PRETTY WINGS single was certified Gold by RIAA as of March 04, 2010.

I have blacksummers night on my mp3 player and on my phone which has an mp3 player on it and I listen to fistful of tears over and over again I love that song so beautiful.

Congratulations to Maxwell. I know he will cherish this special moment in his career. Fistful of Tears is my favorite song from the Blacksummers night album. I hope Maxwell’s pendulum of success will gravitate toward a rebirth of quality R&B and NeoSoul in the music industry.

It is exactly two months since the debut of the “Fistful of Tears” video and…

There’s usually not a day and/or a week that goes by that I’m not STILL VIEWING THIS VIDEO!

I must admit that a tweet I saw on “M’s Twitter” was and still is ON POINT! “#THANKYOU MAXWELL FOR NEW VIDEO Fistful of Tears IT IS ELEGANT, CLASSY, AND CREATIVE an EXPRESSION of the LOVE within!”

The video is nearing the 250,000 mark in hits at http://www.vevo.com ! CLEARLY, I’M NOT THE ONLY ONE VIEWING IT! People are actually taking the time to not only view it they are adding it to their playlists, downloading it at I-Tunes, tagging it as a favorite and leaving some really nice comments about it!
