Weekend Update: More Concert Dates Added

Just a quick update for your Mother’s Day weekend, a check and alert revealed four more dates have been added to the upcoming tour with Jill Scott and featuring Erykah Badu on certain dates, more may be on the way, find the recently added dates below.

Here’s what Maxwell recently told Billboard.com about possibly collaborating with Jill Scott during the tour:

“I would love to. I think it would be great,” Maxwell says. “I think it would be great to create something special like that because she’s just so good, you know? It’s two different shows; she’s got her own look and her own thing she’s doing visually and stagewise, and I have my own thing. But hopefully we’ll be able to overlap the show, somehow. Yesssss.. cool thanks for the update.. I knew he had to stop in B-more..glad I checked so I can be on them tickets on Friday..oh durn I have to work..maybe they will have a presale date so I can get them on Thursday. Not thrilled with the venue but he coming I gotz to go see my bwoy.

I can’t believe it…I thought I was going to miss the tour because we are PCS’ing to TN…but now he’s coming to Nashville a month after I move to the state. I’m there. And I joined twitter last month just to get his tweets on my phone, even though I don’t know a soul who twitters. The power of Maxwell, lol.

I’m bummed that he cancelled the Thursday night D.C. concert. I was really looking forward to getting my double-dose Maxwell fix here in DC. I was hoping not to have to make that trip over the Baltimore but I’ll do what I have to do. I tried to get tickets today but Ticketmaster said the Citicard presale starts on Wednesday, May 12th.

I really looked forward to those tweets every time I logged onto the thelatestmaxwellnews. Too bad stalkers have to ruin it for everyone. But I agee with everyone else, I’m sure he has plenty of other things on his to-do list.

Oh man, I was hoping to get a ticket for the June 17th show in DC but its cancelled. And it looks like the show on the 18th is sold out.

Yeah, the June 17 show in Washington was rescheduled to July 15 in Baltimore, MD.

I just tried all of those presale codes and none worked, not for today anyway. Today is for Previous Ticket holders, guess that’s for the people that had tix for June 17 in DC. Wish I knew someone with those tix, lol..oh well will try again on Wednesday with the Cricket presale code.

What’s up with the dang stalkers messing with Maxwell’s twitter account? I often smiled when my phone would ring with the familiar tone–knowing it was a tweet from my favorite male artist. Smh…

Anyway, I’m so glad to see that they’re keeping the June 18th show in DC. I can’t wait! I’m buying lots of pretty underthings to throw at him (unused of course!LOL)–just cuz he deserves it!
