Re: INTERVIEW: Maxwell Still on a Summers’
     High (Houston Chronicle)

ENJOYED this interview! :)

Maxwell... "SMOOTH OPERATOR," "NEO-SOUL PRINCE," "SWOON-WORTHY HEARTTHROB!" "GOOD TO THE LAST DROP!" ... ALL TRUE!!!.... :)

LOVEEEEEEE the relationship between M and HOD David!-A DIVINE CONNECTION!..... :)

There are no guarantees with ANY event and unfortunately, cancellations do happen... If it's any consolation to you and your friends, the LMN FAM can confirm that "Maxwell" is so against cancelling shows, that during his 2009 tour he still performed despite becoming hoarse from lengthy rehearsals in an attempt to provide the best shows! I read that the 2nd leg of the tour was postponed/canceled until 2011 due to scheduling conflicts with the venues. The new dates are to be announced later this year.

I use to work for American Airlines and most airlines and hotels will cooperate with you. Tell your friends to write a letter to the corporate offices and the appropriate executive, usually the General Manager. Attach a copy of the concert tickets, airline tickets, hotel reservation confirmation, proof of payment and event cancellation. Include a detailed explanation stating that it was a pre-planned trip specifically to attend the event. Airlines and hotels have a pretty good reputation for resolving these situations because they want the repeat business. Perhaps they will issue complimentary vouchers comparable to the originals and usually with a one year expiration date. ... :)

P.S. Tell your friends to HOLD ON, 2011 will be here in a minute!... WE ASSURE YOU "MAXWELL" WILL BE WELL WORTH THE WAIT! :)

I hope his folks give some more information on the cancelation. I have friends who are pretty upset b/c they spent hundreds of dollars on airline tickets and a hotel to travel to the Boston show. That stuff is not refundable and was the only reason they were going there.

It must be frustrating to be constantly critiqued on every performance. Yet, Maxwell seems to take it all in stride. His true fans will always appreciate his God given talent and genuine spirit.

As an artist, Maxwell shares his gift through truth and transparency. His musical gift will only bring forth the best to the world. There is no need for apprehension nor nervousness, because fans know they are receiving the best from him as an artist and human being.
