OOOOOmigosh! I absolutely LOVE me some Maxwell his show was EXCELLENT as usually. The Houston crowd sucked I wish I could see him in another venue. My friend saw him for the first time she soo boring but Max did manage to make her smile and sing a couple of times while I jammed the entire show. Max is the best with his sexy self. One thing his voice was on point, loud and clear I heard every word. Loved being poked by him. I see him again and again. Great performance Max.

I saw Max in October the last time he was here and once again he didn’t disappoint. When he performed “Stop The World” and “Simply Beautiful”, I melted. I wonder what his set could of been, had the Houston attendees not been so unbelievably disrespectful. You have floor seats and then you decide you need to leave early??????? WTF!!! H-Town please show some class! It wouldn’t surprise me if he skips our city next tour! By the way Ms. Jill Scott was completely off the chain!!!!

Just got back home from the Maxwell/Jill Scott concert and all I can say is..DAMN!!!!! Jill Scott..my girl was tearin it up. She has such a powerful voice and she set the SEXY mood that would only get better once Maxwell took the stage. Oh and Maxwell?!? This man is a luscious sexcicle. He had boundless energy..smooth moves and such a beautiful voice…I think I’m in love……….

Maxwell oozed sexiness. He ate our toes like M&M’s… I’m typing this at work and getting flashbacks of last night. I agree with Diane, Houston’s crowd is awful. I had floor seats and couldn’t stand up (yes, I stand up on the floor, I believe when an artist pours out there all, you do the same back) because guys had their girls locked down to their chairs behind me. Anyhow I was done when he did Reunion/Hula Drown Deep! He’s just pure awesomeness. So glad I got to see him perform again.

Maxwell and Jill Scott are wonderful artists and they both gave H-town a show from the heart. I danced and sang and had a great time until the very end. The 2nd installment of Max’s trilogy and Jill’s new album coming later this year can’t come soon enough!

I’m glad I’m not the only one thought the crowd sucked last night. I’ll see him again and again but I will definitely travel to another city. Like DC, ATL or B-More where I know the crowd goes insane. He was still OFF THE CHAIN AS USUAL

I attended the October concert and was WOWED by all three artists. Chrisette, Common and Maxwell was an awesome trio. BUT, I thought it couldn’t get any better than that–NOT! Jill Scott was off the CH CH CHAIN!! And yes, Maxwell Gerard did it again. I think concerts are becoming my bad habit. I so love and enjoy that brass ensemble Keyond H. from STL, or is that Louis Armstrong? That young man can blow!!! The brass is my favorite section. Hope to see you all in Beaumont!! SERIOUSLY!!! WOW! WOW! WOW!!!

I saw Max last year in H-Town and again a week later in New Orleans. I thought his performance in H-Town was wonderful but he was a different performer in New Orleans. I attributed it to the fans. The fans were truly appreciative of the entire show, but certainly of Max’s performance. At the end of the show after the band introduced themselves and had left the stage, Max was still standing there. He sang the verse of one song (I didn’t know what it was) and then he left the stage. He bowed, he smiled, he laughed, he thanked the fans I don’t know how many times – he felt his presence was appreciated. The Toyota Center did not have the same “energy.” To me the fans in H-Town were more interested in being seen than coming to “party.” And everybody knows New Orleans is “party central.” :) So to Diane, Helen and Nefan$Life, when Max is on tour after June 2010, if at all possible, I encourage you to see him at a different venue. You’ll be sooooo glad you did! Based upon what I read about the Dallas show, you won’t have to travel too far to see Max at a different venue.

The Houston Concert was phenomenal! I had the time of my life! It was by far the best concert that I have been to in quite some time! Jill Scott was amazing. We took a long walk around the block, found out the he loves me and everything else! She looks good and makes everyone else feel good! Maxwell, MAXWELL, MAXWELL! Wow! I have been a fan of his for years. He entertained, wooed and enticed us. The range of his voice is incredible. I would like to meet both of these incredible entertainers up close and personal! It would be a dream come true!

I thought the show was awesome. I didn’t know a lot of the songs Jill Scott was singing but her performance was off the chain. She looked so good all in black and I loved the comment she made about having only 75 minutes so there would be no wardrobe changes. This was my first time seeing Maxwell live and he blew my mind. When he said he wanted to smell the badussy I damn near melted in my chair. I too wondered where all the people were going near the end. I jumped up as soon as my favorite song came on which happened to be something-something, which he sang first and I stayed on my feet- I didn’t care about the people behind me. I had an excellent time and will pay to see Maxwell again and again. I stayed until the end and thought it was so funny when they were talking about Frenchy’s. Love the show.

I saw Maxwell when he came back in october with Common, that was my first Maxwell show and I thought that there was no way he could out do his performance. Wednesdays nights show was AMAZING so say the least!! I too was very disappointed in the crowd! We had front row seats, and I was told several times by the woman next to me, to sit down so that she could see!!! I was appallled. HELLO, your at a concert, stand up!!! On a lighter note, when Maxwell came closer to where I was, I reached out my hand for him…..and he too reached out and held my hand!! Not once, but TWICE! I nearly fainted :-0 on our way up to the concert, I had told my boyfriend that I was hoping that he would perform drowned deep, and he did. This is going to be the song that I have chosen to play at my wedding as we dance our first dance together A’s a married couple. That night could not have been more perfect! If anyone knows where I can get a video of the concert, please let me know! ;)

Maxwell, if you read these posts, you are an amazing artist and one helluva sexy man!! I forgot I was there with my boyfriend when you came out on that stage. You are so loved and I hope that you continue to include Houston on your list if cities to perform in. You have made me so much more of a romantic and I thank you for a that u have shown me through your beautiful songs and lyrics. God bless you and thank you!

I don’t know what crowd y’all was seating next to but where we were it was great. Jill I am still riding high off of you. Maxwell I saw him in 2008 and this concert was great and he did a very good job. I dance all night he made me feel like he was singing just to me like always. I love music and y’all did it well

Maxwell, as I expected, was phenomenal!!! I also saw him in October. I believe that this performance was by far the best. I must have had tunnel vision because I didn’t even see people leaving early, although that doesn’t surprise me. The crowd did seem more subdued and the security seemed extra tight. I was on the third row, but there was one particular member of security that was a straight up “you know what!” I too had a chance to shake Max’s hand but not until the end of show. Maybe I will look into another venue next year. @Sonu Singh, my favorite part was Reunion/Hula too. There is a clip on Youtube (from the LA show) called Max and LaTina @Staples Center that shows part of the performance.

Sorry, I meant the performance on June 9th (this current tour) was by far the best!!
