Wow… Real music for a change. Both Jill and Maxwell gave me my what I paid for and much more. I left the concert a changed woman. Maxwell owned the stage. He is a real man. Someone threw a pair of panties on the stage lol and he handled them just like a real man should! He left me wanting more…..

Yes, I did and I have to say that it was AMAZING! I had never seen Jill live before…WOW! She had so much confidence, such a commander of the stage. She was so funny and RAUNCHY..LOL! I never really listened to Jill that much before..but I am a true fan now…she was a BEAST on stage.

Maxwell…what can I say? His voice was PERFECT! His speaking voice was even clear..usually its a little froggy. I was expecting to hear some new material..but he surprised me by doing DROWNDEEP: HULA!!!! He put a new upbeat..soulful groove to it…and it gave the song a new life. He also added a James Brown type funk groove to Get To Know Ya and it worked so well. This man is BRILLIANT when it comes to approaching his songs with a new angle. I was totally amazed.

The sold out crowd was so receptive and gave as much as Jill and Max did. It was one of the best concert experiences that I have ever had.

Absolutely one of the best concerts! Jill was Jill. She knows how to entertain. One of the few real singers of today and seriously under-rated as one of the best voices of the last decade. The woman has some serious range. Fantastic!

And Sexy Max! He always puts on a great show. Saw him on his combeack tour about 2 years ago. Just sexy. Real showman! Certainly a soul great. They should do an album together. We really haven’t seen those types of collaborations since Marvin Gaye and Tammy Terell. The two together… A Must See!

I was @ Philips Arena Saturday night!! Floor seats..center stage. My cousin & I got there late so we missed maybe 2 songs of Jill’s set but she ANNIHILATED the place! Her voice is sooo powerful! 1st time seeing here LIVE and she ‘brought’ it! Intermission…..

Dim lights…. a lovely silhouette of Max moving that body on a huge screen! I think he opened to Sumthin-Sumthin (up-tempo) and he did all his hits including Reunion and DROWNDEEP HULA!! He also sung ‘Dont Say Goodnight’ by Isley Brothers. Very nice and energetic…a lot of panties on stage. I went to Philips last yr to see him & I think the Y-stage (used last leg of tour) makes a diff. with connecting with the crowd as security was tighter this round. I danced up and down the aisle the whole night though! Overall, it was worth the $$$… the band was OUTSTANDING as always. Their music is so PALPABLE!

Sidenote: I’m sure a plethora of celebs were there but I met Jasmine Guy and Indie.Arie!

I had a wonderful time, the best concert ever! Max and Jill was OUTSTANDING, worth every dollar. I wish that Max would have done something new off his upcoming cd, but it still was an awesome show, much love to Max and Jill.

I attended the Maxwell/Jill Scott concert 6-12 and it was magnificent. Both artist voices were excellent. They commanded the stage and kept the audience wanting more. I don’t think anyone in the arena wanted to leave.

These artists, bands, and singers gave me every penny of what I paid for my center stage seat. I would gladly paid it again to see them perform

Yes I went to the concert on Saturday night in the ATL at Phillips. Jill Scott was Phenomenal, but Maxwell to me was “TERRIBLE.” I was told he did a great job on Friday night. Wish I would have caught him then…

Traveled from out of state for a romantic weekend. Concert was a highlight. Huge new Jill fan, she made the sold out arena seem like a living room. Wish I could say the same for Max. He was formulaic in his approach, yelling “do you love me ATL” and saying “ATL” constantly and grinding through the songs. I am a HUGE recorded music fan of his and he asked the audience to sing along on most songs, not hitting any notes. I paid $200 in tickets and would have loved to hear him REALLY sing at least one song. From now on, I will stick to CD purchases and he is AWESOME at writing/recording. The tour was a $machine.
