Driving 7 hours to see him at the Today show will be worth it!

I think that this is a good interview he did and it makes sense to be careful about what choices that you make at some point in life. I like it when he talks more about things having to do with life in general because you get more into him as a person. You already like the music but the man comes out in these interviews and that’s what people like to see.

This was a very nice interview. Wish I could go, but unfortunately I’ll have to be satisfied with recording it,.

If someone told you the next outfit you choose to put on would be the last outfit you would ever wear for the rest of your life, what type of outfit would you choose?

Thats the same kind of consideration that should go into choosing your “other half”.
It is all too easy to enter a relationship whilst you are already preparing your way out of it.
Getting married is easy, it’s making it last, thats what requires effort.

@ BELLA BROWN – You stay pouring some knowledge into this cup! LOL! All jokes aside, you’re absolutely right. I think that’s why he seems in a hurry to put out those albums, one each year. He’s thankful, but also eager to go back into normalcy to start the new stage of his life. All of his friends have wifed up somebody. LOL!

He’s at that critical age where he does need to make a life choice (hopefully a wise one), but at the same time, his successful career is sort of preventing him from finding substance. You can’t date or really get to know someone while your jetsetting from city to city. There is no time for a real relationship to flourish, unless your dating someone who is on the road with you. (Personally, I’m not an advocate for having romantic relationships with any co-workers, but to each is his/her own.) That’s how Bruce Springsteen and his second wife hooked up. She plays in the E Street Band so she’s with him always.

I would rather take my time and be 45 years old than to rush and marry someone because I’m feeling desperate. You’re right. Getting married is easy, but making it last is definitely what requires effort.

@ Suzanne – In an interview Maxwell said he likes him a pretty, pretty female I just hope he is focusing on the inner beauty to the same degree as exterior trappings are transient its the true inner beauty that remains and enhances what a person looks like on the outside.
I agree with what you say about mixing business with pleasure but i do believe if you want something to work you can make it work with discretion, compromise and commitment and lots of creativity.
Modern technology makes it a lot easier to stay in touch and communicate instantly with someone.
My work takes me all over the globe, i am constantly travelling but when i do meet the “one” i will be prepared to put in the work to reap the benefits.
just like you i would rather take my time than rush in.

Mr. Maxwell would not have any problems finding a woman who would be proud to be called his wife or birth his babies! And Im sure he’s well aware of that! But he’s not willing to just jump into something just for the sake of doing it. He is willing to wait patiently and find his true love which I think is beautiful. The woman that he DOES finally settle down with will sure be one lucky lady! Lord if only it could be me………………..! :)
