INTERVIEW: “I Thank People For Not Forgetting Me” (thegrio.com)

Last week, Maxwell got the chance to sit down with thegrio.com and give a brief interview in which he speaks about his fans, his music, and his future away from the music industry. Check it out in the video below.

Everytime I watch an interview by this remarkable GENTLEMAN I continue to be overwhelmingly impressed by him.
I love the way he speaks openly about matters of the heart or should I say “his heart” with such truthful ease and integrity.
All to often his fellow male peers tends to strain towards the Bravado type of behaviour making showy displays of wealth and success as some sort of benchmark for manhood, it is nice to see an accountable gentleman openly discussing his honest feelings regarding relationships and family with the sincere respect that institution so rightly deserves….

Maxwell epitomizes chivalry, maturity and substance. His essence has an integrity and it translates in his music. I can’t wait till he meets the woman of his dream and fathers some children, cause when he does it will marinate his artistry. Love you Max…..can’t wait till (B)SUMMERS’(N). We need REAL music to continue to soothe our souls…….

I am 56 years ols, but I wish I could be in the running to have some children with Max, hearing him say he wants to be a good husband and father…. makes me wish I could be a part of that……but at my age, all I have left are “powdered eggs” LOL

I love this interview. Hearing him say he wants to be a good husband and father just made my heart melt. Just when I think I can’t love him any more, he says something sweet like that. :-/ That is going to be one lucky woman. I wish him only the best, he deserves it. Just don’t stop making music Max!
