On the Cover: Returns Renaissance Soul to Urban Music (Savoy Magazine)

Make sure you pick up Savoy magazine, Maxwell is featured on the cover of the Summer 2010 issue and gives an exclusive interview. Check your local bookstores for the issue.

Maxwell’s return to R&B has been welcomed by throngs of concert go-ers and die hard fans for the last 12 months.  In Savoy’s Summer 2010 issue we have an exclusive interview with Maxwell that sheds new light on the artist. Maxwell also breaks the silence on the second album in his R&B trilogy BlackSUMMERS’night coming this fall.

Here’s a picture of Maxwell partying it up at 1OAK with Busta Rhymes (@BusaBusss) July 29, 2010.

I really wish magazines would go back to hiring fact-checkers. Max was 23 in 1996.

Although I never tire of seeing Maxwell on the cover of ANYTHING, :-) I wonder what kind of magazine this is that uses photos already out there? Seen these already but it still made me buy the magazine. So, I guess, mission accomplished for SAVOY. :-)

Those are his current (2008 to present) press photos. I’m sure (PRAYING) that he has some new ones (more choices) when it’s time for the second and third albums.

Magazines that don’t have a big budget are the only ones who do this. Granted even recycled pics of Max never get old.
