Over the past couple of years, Maxwell has played in many different venues of various sizes, 2,000+-seat venues to 20,000+-seat venues and everything in between. And his adoring admirers have given out-of-pocket no matter the size of the venue. Given the intimacy his music invokes and his performance style, how do you prefer to see Maxwell in concert?

Would You Bring Your Child to a MAXWELL Concert?

The strangest thought crossed my mind as I was over looking on ticketmaster. On one of the concerts listed for MAXWELL it has that children 2 and up must have a ticket. My imagination ran wild with me for a moment. We all know children, they are universally the same even the unique ones. *Age-wise 2 – 16* Regardless of the reason, Would You Bring Your Child or Children to a MAXWELL concert?

Leaked BLACKsummers’night – MAXWELL

Had a bad storm where I live, neighbors house was struck by lightening it knocked out of all things the cable (DSL connection). So, I missed Thursday and the happenings of that day. In checking around, MAXWELL’s BLACKsummers’night was leaked?! Oh my, really. Its not really shocking, more unfortunate for those musically and financially involved with the artist and the process. So, I have a question & a poll.

Faced with the opportunity to download music for free vs. paying before the music is released, EVERYONE would download the free music. But, the question is, Would you BUY music you have previously downloaded for FREE?

RESULTS: MAXWELL Future Touring

When this poll was created, it was done in mind for people who live in locations where Maxwell has not visited ever, in locations where people had not seen him in ten years or so, and for people in America who live in a state/location that was not visited during Live ‘08. Maxwell mentioned he would, over the next 2 years or so, revisit Africa, as well as visit Asia and everywhere he has not been.

After viewing the results of this poll and checking various social networking sites where Maxwell is located (Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, YouTube 1, 2) and various social networking sites where The Latest Maxwell News™ (unofficial fansite) is located (MySpace, Twitter, Imeem, Last.fm, etc.), the artist is in HIGH demand.

From this blog in particular, Poland was a standout location because Soulbowl, a neat website, along with a couple of Poland-based forums, posted a blog/message with a link back here. The people in Poland wanted everyone to know, they are more than ready for Maxwell. There was no stuffing of the poll either. Each and every vote on this poll is ONE SINGLE VOTE per computer.

So, if Maxwell EVER wanted to do a **world tour** in the near future, that sounds like a great idea. The demand exists and positive buzz can always be created to help.
